Life is like a sheep.

Outside: looks good with its sweater made of wool...

Inside : stack with problems, full of words coming from the heart that it can't express.

Last but not the least, it's full of judgement.

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.
 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
 3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
   for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
   through the darkest valley
I will fear no evil,
   for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
   they comfort me.

 5 You prepare a table before me
   in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
   my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
   all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
   forever.

Last April 2009, after Kym’s check-up, we rode the Cebuferry boat back to Cagayan de Oro. It’s time for Kym’s afternoon sleep. We were so tired that my husband, Kym and I slept. Kym was with my husband’s bunk after he fed her with a bottle of milk. As he woke up, Kym was gone! He woke me up and 3 minutes later, Kym was carried by a stranger – barefooted and was smiling. He returned her to us and we we’re so thankful that he did watch over our daughter while she was wandering around the big ship. My husband and I looked at each other and saw blank faces.

Imagine that! If something happened to Kym, I’ll never forgive myself. We were so lucky to buy a ticket in the tourist spot that was an air-conditioned closed area of the ship. It would be drastic if we we’re in an open area with a child on board.

A child wanders like a sheep and the moment she realizes, she is lost!

We also get lost in our lives sometimes… But the greatest thing is that, we have a Shepherd looking for us every time we’re off –track.
