Life is like a taxi.

The tragedy of life
is not that it ends so soon,
but that we wait so long to begin it.
                                    - W. M. Lewis

How much would you pay for a ride?

Here is a picture of Kym and her father going home after the bloodwork was done. From the hospital heading home, she fell asleep at her papa’s arms.

She knows it already. When she sees a person in white uniform, she frowns and turns away. It is just so sad to see her crying and you do nothing but resist her, while a person sticks a needle under her skin.

This was her first check-up in Davao Doctor’s Hospital with her new pediatric endo doctor. All went fine; the blood results except for the bone aging scan. We found out that Kym’s bones were inappropriate for her age. Her little bones were just of 14 months old instead of a 36 months old child.

I am very blessed with my daughter’s life. Even though she grows slowly physically, her mental development is at normal age.

And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will complete it.  - Philippians 1:6

Life is not like wearing make up.

I wish life was like makeup, when u mess it up, wipe it off and start again.

We all make mistakes.
As humans as we are, we are not perfect.

Some mistakes in life just can’t be erased.

Do you wake up each morning to face another day of dragging your guilt around? You don’t have to. The Lord is waiting to take that load from you and cast it as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103: 12). All you must do is hand over your burden and receive His forgiveness.

Life is like a dream.

Papa, Kym and Uncle Jasper sleeping soundly

There’s good times and there’s nightmares.
Life will only last so long, but your dreams will go on forever.
Life is a journey, travel it well.

It is just very delightful to watch a child sleeping still.

Before the age of 3, she repeatedly begins to say the word No. I have learned that toddlers even say “No” even when they are asleep. She’s maybe dreaming about something she doesn’t want in her dream. It was one of the moments you get amused on just watching your daughter.

Life is like riding a bicycle.

– in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving – Albert Einstein

Kym always get thrilled if she sees a bike. We should find the smallest bicycle for her in the mall. But we can’t find a classy one that suits her. She can’t reach the pedals yet and I think she does not have the strength yet to cycle one. I am not belittling her. I am sure that it will end up – instead of pedaling the bike to pushing the bike all around the grassy yard. Poor lolo and lola. =p

Is it really time to buy her one? Most kids get excited when they see what they want, anyway.
